Those looking to see what’s new in the world of men’s sex toys were among those attending an event held in Philadelphia recently.
The SundayOUT! celebration went down a storm with locals and visitors alike and among those present was gay sex shop and fashion specialist Passional Boutique and Delicious Boutique, the Temple News reports.
One of those enjoying the atmosphere was Manny Claudio, a model for the retailer, who was dressed up in metallic silver underwear and a studded torso strap.
Another one of those soaking up the spring rays was Brittany Williams, who described the occasion as “awesome”. She added: “It was [great] seeing all of these things and people.”
The bonanza was held at the Piazza at Schmidts and Liberties Walk in Northern Liberties and it lasted for six hours, showcasing a range of musical talent, among other things. It was the end of a week-long lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community festival organised by the Equality Forum.
Commenting on the venue, communications director at the organisation Chip Alfred said: “It’s a great location and Northern Liberties is the really new, chic urban place to go.”
Those with a passion for gay sex toys who are based across the pond may also have been at an event held recently in Harvard. Expert Megan Andelloux used a common room to show a variety of sex toys, the Harvard Crimson reported.
As well as explaining the offerings on display, she talked about anatomy and gave out information and advice about sex play. According to Ms Andelloux, when it comes to using naughty toys, if people feel as though they’ve had a good time and lost control of their bodies, that’s the most important thing.
She added that it’s good to understand why people want to be touched, have orgasms and explore their fantasies.
