Show off your practical Bathroom

If you are going to revamp your bathroom why not be a ‘show off’. Bathrooms are not re- decorated every year so making sure you have everything that you want from a bathroom is a practical move.

A focal piece in a room, such as a shower with a large shower head would be impractical if the shower head is so large it wets the bathrooms floor when the shower unit is in use.

• A more practical use would be to have a shower fitted over the bathroom with a beautifully designed shower door that stops any excess water dripping on to the floor.

• The larger bathrooms can have fitted the more unusual bespoke furniture. Fit a new bathroom suite while making the bathroom suite the focal point of the room.

• More storage space that hides way excess clutter has to be more of a practical use of space in any room.

A bathroom that has a low ceiling can be made to look taller with good lighting and light paint on walls and ceilings. Matched with light tiles and choosing from one of the many light pastel bathroom suites will enhance the space. If your bathroom requires wallpaper on some walls then go for vertical stripes to create more height.
A tall heated towel rail and radiator will look fabulous, however when these are fitted you may decide you want new taps.

Modern bathroom accessories placed in an established bathroom can change the whole look of a room.

Tip: A revamped bathroom with a new bathroom suite in a small room may require taps to be fitted on the wall above the bath to avoid obstruction at either end of the bath.
At SMR Bathrooms we are able to provide bathroom suites with both modern and traditional styled taps.
